Style

Croatian design firm Atellior was brought in to create the design plan for Ikador, and they took much of their inspiration from the land and sea surrounding the hotel. Opatija’s rich history and architectural style provided inspiration for the hotel’s overall design. Atellior wanted to evoke a feeling of the golden age of Opatija but with a modern twist. To do this, they’ve used timeless materials in new and fresh ways and have created architectural details inspired by the historical villas of the area. With infinite sea view of Kvarner Bay visible from every corner of the hotel and luxurious finishes, carefully chosen materials, and bespoke furniture filling out the interior, Ikador gives guests an exquisite and sophisticated vibe.
