Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Peru varies by region, but generally, the dry season from May to September offers the most favorable weather conditions for outdoor activities and sightseeing (particularly for Machu Picchu).

For travelers visiting the Amazon Rainforest, we recommend June through November, which coincides with higher water levels and better wildlife spotting!
